Sunprint Handmade Mask with Double Flannel Layers
MADE TO ORDER. Sustainably made by hand with sunprinting (cyanotype) on cotton. Printed outerlayer fabrics are reclaimed. Inside each mask is a double-layer of flannel for extra protection. FYI: like the majority of handmade masks, these are NOT medical grade.
***These masks tie UNDER the ear. Benefits of this style include:
+ Reduces/eliminates skin irritation (especially the ear irritation from long-term wearing)
+ Does not interfere with hearing aids
+ Does not interfere with glasses + sunglasses
+ Wearers can still wear earrings safely without tugging on jewelry
+ Mask can remain around neck when not in proximity to others; EASY to pull mask up onto face before entering closed space
Patterning will vary mask to mask -- all fabric is printed by the artist using locally picked flora, so there are new patterns made with every printing.
